COMPLETE!!!!

(Six full sets of Turquoise, Pink, Yellow & Green!)

Oh Readers it has been a happy day around here!
The second to last set complete! Girlfriend Patricia along with the help of Missouri Michael found the solid yellow 222 brownie pan! Here it is wit the rest of the set, as soon as we got it out to the Casablanca we baked brownies to celebrate!
(Friend Alex mixing up the brownie batter!)
It was great! Then about two weeks ago I received a parcel in the mail from Missouri Michael and when I opened it MUCH TO MY SURPRISE there was the missing long pan that I needed to finish up my collection!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH MICHAEL! The solid yellow long pan, and brownie pan have been by far the two hardest to find.
So now that I have all the pieces, I'kind of in shock... I mean we all dream about having a full set of some sort of Pyrex but what do you do when you've collected them all? I think I'll, cook, bake & enjoy it!
So I made some peanut butter-maple glaze cookies, recipe courtesy of Wacky Tacky Blog, if you haven't been by there go check it out its pretty neat!

When I have a spare moment i might start collecting the rest of the American Ivy Franciscan dishes and finish that set!

Aaaaaaagh! I am so jealous! But not in a mean, spiteful way. This is a set that I am trying to complete too. I have all the loaf pans, all the pie plates, all the cake pans, and all the round 024's. The square and rectangular ones tend to be pretty elusive. I'll get there someday. Enjoy your beautiful collection!

Congratulations! When I had the privilege of seeing the Casablanca, you had no idea you'd be completing the set so soon. I know you're thrilled!

I think you definitely need to start working on your Lucy dishes next. It would be so exciting to get that set completed.

Congratulations! What an amazing collection; I am so scattered that I don't think I could EVER be determined enough to do all of that work. Thanks for the shout out!

The collection looks great! Looks like I need to keep an eye out for a yellow loaf pan though. The one you have is from the yellow daisy set, I believe. The handles are different on it than the others, showing that it is newer. Yay! Something else to search for!

Man, it's a good thing everyone is getting so bad about blogging regularly--it's a whole lot easier to catch up on blogs! I'm looking forward to Thanksmass and seeing all your lovely Pyrex and the whole Casablanca and since I'm divesting myself of much of my vintage inventory, there's a great possibility that I'll not only be bringing you those salt & pepper shakers but maybe some glasses with animals on them . . . If you're ever out and about and see luscious vintage rhinestone costume jewelry that's not priced too high, think of me since that's what I'm concentrating on these days and why I'm getting rid of my glass and pottery and stuff.

Great job Mick, I am so jealous! I have been looking for those pans (any of them) for years and not found a one. (I know, I can't believe it either, but you know how it goes!)
