(Scored these babies for a STEAL!)
The weather may have been dreary this weekend, but that didn't stop us from hitting up the Bowie TX flea market! Although each of us was somewhat disappointed by a lack of what we'd been pining for we did find some treasures!
My hauls, a doughnut maker, an AWESOME 1966 Batman Lunch box that Patricia bought me, a "Delaware" Travel plate, an "ABBA greatest hits" Album and a new mint Pyrex Pie Plate!
(1966 Lunch box, a little wear but I LOVE it!)
(The graphics are great! Joker & Riddler)
(The Bat-Cave)
(The Penguin, and Robin in peril)
(On the Bat-Phone)
(Hero's in Action! Even if Robins face is scratched off...)
I cannot wait to try this out! Scored this Popeil Brothers "Donut Maker" on sale for $2.25, I don't think it has ever been used! It was in its original box (opened), and is in pristine condition. Best thing about the original box? It had tried and true recipes for making doughnuts, that sold me on the deal!
("This is why we don't take pictures before 10 A.M." Dillon, Brandon, Jenn & Pat!)
We finished off the day with a TO DIE FOR meal at "Sweet Boys Cafe" in downtown Bowie, I am still craving the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes!
All in all a fun day with great friends!

You got a bunch of cool stuff! Love the new Pyrex, and I can't wait to hear how your first batch of donuts turns out. Too bad some kid got mad at Robin and took it out on his face...LOL
Hum donuts! I love homemade donuts!
Please do a post about your donut experience.
Those Pyrex casseroles are beautiful and I really dig the Batman lunch box.
I used to watch the show all the time as a kid :)
Sure sounds like a great day! ABBA!!!that was a find! And the Donut Maker.....$2.25! DEAL! Is the name Bowie after the famed James Bowie who knew and fought alongside with Davey Crockett?
Yes sir' named after Jim Bowie and his famous custom knife!
Those sage Scroll pieces are something that sister has been coveting for a very long time! They are on my ever-growing list of things to buy for her:-) Don't you wish you were related to me! Ha ha:-)
Love everything, especially that donut maker. You will have to let us all know how it works out.
Have a great week!
Erica
Congrats on 400 posts!
Pyrex made so many pieces with that scroll design - many different colors as well. The green casseroles are my favorites in that pattern, followed by the turquoise 2.5 quart bowl.
Great finds!
I see Sister already got to it, but I will say again, I love those Pyrex Sage Scroll pieces! I didn't realize they came in two sizes either, how exciting.
Fun finds!

Those pyrex scroll pieces are AMAZING.
Congrats on your 400th !!
Score for you on the sage scrolls - so great that you got them both!
Love the ABBA, pie dish and lunch can too!
Huge congrats on hitting 400 posts, that is no small feat by any stretch of the imagination!
What an awesome array of vintage pieces. That lunchbox instantly whipped my memory back to childhood days spent watching the classic Adam West version on YTV when I was a knee high to the bat phone :)
